Every once and a while we’re reminded of how fortunate we are to have all the things we usually take for granted: a roof over our heads, food to eat, and a loving family. If we have our health, we’re even luckier. That’s why it’s so important to give back to the community and to spread as much joy as we can. Children's Treatment Network (CTN) serves 7,000 children and youth with special needs in York Region and Simcoe County, and is funded by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services. They work with partners in healthcare, education, and community agencies to provide physiotherapy, occupational therapy and communication support for clients that use technology to help them talk.
’Tis indeed the season to be jolly. After all, it’s hard not to have a smile on your face when you’re participating in the annual holiday festivities. This year, CTG staff and their families came from as far as Halifax to celebrate with their fellow coworkers. More than 200 familiar faces showed up for the annual event in Mississauga, which turned out to be a wild success.
